Have you ever looked at a Tortoise and thought, what an odd but yet fascinating creature?

These Reptiles too face some very challenging times due to loss of habitat, illegal wildlife/pet trade literally being eaten to extinction!

Herewith a short introduction of some of the endangered species the Ashton Biological Preserve works with. More videos describing each of the species in more detail will be launched throughout 2019/2020.

The Ashton Biological Preserve is located just outside Archer, Florida.

Chase Pirtle, Ashton's animal care specialist and habitat manager, has taken it upon himself, together with a small team, to help change this for these reptiles.
